SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Since opening its doors in 1992, LDP has been an integral part of the Stellenbosch community. We strongly believe that, given the support we have received, and the challenges facing South Africa, we need to take an active approach in giving back to our community.

LDP is therefore involved in various actions with the aim of making a difference in people’s lives:
  • sponsorships of schools (special days and prizes)
  • performing pro bono financial statement audits for schools, welfare and other deserving organizations
  • providing management, consultancy and accounting services to welfare and community organizations.
“LDP Cares” is a staff-led action to make regular contributions to selected charities in the area. At present close to R5000 per month is donated to the Flom Community Centre at Lynedoch Primary School for their Literacy Programme.

LDP is also involved in the programme "Friends of Stellenzicht" which aims to improve the quality of education at this high school in Jamestown, one of the neighbourhoods of Stellenbosch. Our project aims to progressively provide each classroom with the best possible information and communication teaching aids.
